I sowed these seeds last spring and was delighted to find these two monstrose seedlings when I was separating and potting these up. One appears to be a conventional crest, but the other is strange to me. I haven't been growing for many seasons, but I had never seen this kind of morphology on a monstrose tricho before. It looks almost puckered up like a crest collapsed inward or something. I am relieved to see it working on a new pup though. I wonder if it will have a terminating tip pattern like the short-form TBM or something. Who knows, but it will be fun to wait and see. I sourced the seeds from Misplant and the cross is TPQC x Jessica, so all pachanoi as far as I understand.
